1tap works in three ways
You take a photo of your receipts and 1tap Receipts automatically process the information on it. It also updates the Self Assessment form in 1tap for you. Here's how to do that.
2. Manual Entry
This is for expenses which are trickier to work out, such as mileage, electricity usage (part for personal/part for work), home office rent you can claim and so on. These can be manually entered. Here's how to do that.
3. Email in invoices
You get emailed invoices for your phone bill, your promotional material, marketing costs and so on. These you can simply email to 1tap and we will process it for you. Here's how to do that.
All three ways update the Self Assessment form in 1tap for you automatically. Come time to lodge it, all you're left to do is copy/paste the information on the form into the original HMRC Self Assessment form and press send.
